Integration in the Netherlands

If you are from abroad and you have come to live in the Netherlands, you may wish to integrate well in Dutch society, or may be obliged by Law to do so. Integration means simply to make sure that you know some important things about the country and that you can speak the language, in order for you to  participate in Dutch society. In order to do this, you may need to attend a school where you feel at home and receive the right level of support, in order to know your way around the Netherlands. The teachers of Capabel Taal have a wealth of experience in helping  people like yourself and know  exactly how to support you in the best possible way.

In order to help you learn the language, Capabel Taal uses the method of Delftse Methode. The Delftse Methode helps you to quickly speak the Dutch language. As a result of attending our course, you will be able to learn to read, write and to listen to Dutch. A big advantage of the Delftse Methode is that through this method, the element ‘Knowledge of Dutch Society’, is directly embedded in to our lessons.

At Capabel Taal you may make your own choice as to how many weeks and how often you would like to attend our weekly classes. You may choose from a course duration of 21, 42 or 63 weeks, in which you follow classes during 1, 2 or 4 part time days. From experience we know that most people pass their exams when they choose for a course duration of 42 weeks, in which they receive weekly lessons during 2 part time days. During school holidays we do not offer classes at Capabel Taal.

If you are obliged by Law to integrate as from 1 January 2015, or if you would like to apply for naturalization, you are obliged to follow the module ‘Orientation on the Dutch Labour Market’ also.
